Announcing the Aura Enchantée Incense Holder

On December 14, 2024, Tokyo Kodo and Wakabayashi Butsugu will jointly unveil a series of new incense holder, “Aura Enchantée.” To commemorate the launch, the TOKYO KODO Incense Gallery “Aura Enchantée” exhibition will open on the same day at SMP GALLERY (located within STYLE MEETS PEOPLE in Tokyo Midtown).

An incense stand that brings a sense of wonder and beauty to your incense experience

Incense allows you to choose a scent that matches your mood or the occasion, enriching spaces such as living rooms and bedrooms. The vessel that holds the incense is what completes the special atmosphere and space created by its fragrance. This vessel is more than just an incense holder; it also serves as a decorative object that enhances the space. Born from a desire to enrich the lives of incense enthusiasts and offer them new experiential value, this design—which transcends its function as a tool for burning incense to become a beautiful interior object—brings a new dimension to the enjoyment of incense.

The designs were created by spatial designer and artist Hiroto Yoshizoe and artist Iyo Hasegawa. The result is a collection of three art products—“Flottement,” “Le corps,” and “Zéphyr”—that blend seamlessly into everyday life while exuding a unique presence. We are pleased to present these pieces, which gently enrich your daily life.
